Like Canadian universities, Australian universities offer many choices at the undergraduate level. Bachelor degrees can be completed in a minimum of three years of full-time study, or four years should you wish to complete Honours studies.

There is a key difference between the North American and Australian post-secondary education systems in relation to professional degrees (e.g. medicine, law, physiotherapy). The Australian university system offers many professional qualification programs at the undergraduate level. This means that students straight from high school can enrol in programs to be become doctors, lawyers, physiotherapists, etc.
