Students within the physio program will experience a range of exciting and challenging learning opportunities as physiotherapists (physical therapists), who work with people of all ages and abilities. A high proportion of teaching of the physiotherapy program will take place in small groups, including practical workshops and tutorial activities. Additionally, extensive clinical practica in a variety of settings will be completed, the majority in the third and fourth years.

These practica will provide the hands-on experience of working with individuals and groups, under the supervision of qualified physiotherapists, in a variety of settings. This may involve travel to locations in North Queensland and beyond. There may be opportunities to complete fieldwork overseas.
