Applications for the 2012 intake are now closed.
To commence your application for the 2013 intake, follow the steps below.

Step 1

Complete the university application form

Please complete a University of Melbourne "Application for Admission International Postgraduate Student."

Apply Online or Download a Paper Application.

Please note, the University of Melbourne application fee is $100 AUD; however, if you submit your Melbourne M.D. application directly to OzTREKK, Melbourne waives the $100 AUD application fee.

OzTREKK Scholarship
Every student who submits their application and accepts their offer via OzTREKK, and commences their studies at an OzTREKK Australian university, will receive a $500 scholarship from OzTREKK.

Step 2

Obtain detailed course outline(s)

Collect a detailed course outline/class syllabi for the undergraduate subjects you have completed or are enrolled in, which meet the Melbourne MD pre-requisites:
>human anatomy
>physiology
>biochemistry

Detailed course outlines are required. A one-paragraph description of a subject will not suffice.

Step 3

Obtain final official academic transcript and MCAT results

Academic Transcripts

Your university can mail your final transcript directly to OzTREKK, or you can mail your transcript directly to OzTREKK, as long as it remains in its sealed envelope.

If you have completed studies from a number of post-secondary institutions, you will need to submit a final transcript from each institution at which you studied.

Applicants must submit their final transcript, which includes your final semester's marks and evidence that you have completed your degree.

MCAT results
You can either print your MCAT report and mail, e-mail or fax it directly to OzTREKK, or you can simply e-mail your MCAT verification code & your AAMC ID number directly to OzTREKK.

Step 4

OzTREKK will confirm
receipt of application

When OzTREKK receives your complete application, OzTREKK will:

confirm that it has been submitted to your Australian university
advise when an application outcome will be available
provide you with exclusive login details to OzTREKK’s online Admissions and Pre-departure Centre, where you can check your application status 24/7
