James Cook University (JCU) Undergraduate Business Degrees

As part of the Division of Tropical Environments and Societies, the College of Business, Law and Governance promotes, fosters, supports and administers quality teaching and research at JCU in the areas of Accounting, Governance and Management, Economics and Marketing, Law, Tourism and Information Technology. The College is led by the Dean, Professor David Low.

The School of Business at James Cook University is located across two campuses in the tropical north of the state of Queensland. The school offers a broad, leading-edge range of business-related disciplines and degrees at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

International and domestic students are welcome to attend either of JCU's Cairns or Townsville locations to further their studies in a safe and welcoming tropical environment. The school offers a first degree of study through a new Bachelor of Business program, which features a set of six, first-year core subjects including a Personal and Professional Business skills subject and a subject about managing the customer experience. Students can select up to two majors in their second and third year of study, and can elect to take a "work experience" subject to link with their employment during their studies.
