My experience with OzTREKK was quite good overall. There were a few mistakes made, but were dealt with quickly and handled well. Considering the number of students they deal with, it's quite understandable.

OzTREKK has been great--from when I first talked to Matt two years ago for two years in a row, to when I first applied and did not have my transcript arrive in time. Shannon was great in discussing with UQ to allow them to accept my unofficial transcript while the official one made its way to her--late. All of the information I received was very useful. I enjoyed the free lunches and dinners on campus when I first arrived as it helped me to meet many of the other Canadians in my program and in other programs, and from that I have forged many friendships. Shannon has also been very helpful in answering any questions that I have had in regard to accommodation, which ended up saving me in the middle of the flooding situation.

OzTREKK was great. They answer everything with detail and even after you arrive in Australia and have questions, they never hesitate to help you out. The service is free and you get a scholarship if you get accepted and come here. What I loved about the services is that all questions were handled in a timely fashion, and the pre-departure seminars really gave a good general idea of what life was like down here.

I would say about 80% of it was good. The trouble I had was getting a number from the government so that I was allowed to go to university. I had problems registering for a visa because of that, and had a conditional offer when I should have had an unconditional offer. Confusion in that and my teachables were not stated correctly the first time.
