Do you have a fear of public speaking?

Are you afraid of public speaking? Being nervous when speaking in front of a large group of people—or even just a few—can really be debilitating, not to mention frustrating. Many undergraduate and graduate students are required to speak in front of the class, either to answer questions or because they must deliver an oral presentation.

So what happens when your heart pounds, your palms sweat, and gibberish comes out of your mouth?

Glossophobia is the official term for fear of public speaking, and it is one of the most common fears in the world! Here, Bond University Associate Professor Mike Grenby discusses the fear of public speaking and ways you tackle it.  You can overcome your fear and empower yourself to be a more confident public speaker!
