OzTREKK Study in Australia Fair – June

This is one of our favourite events of the year!

The 5th annual OzTREKK – Study in Australia Fair hosted in Toronto, is the largest Study in Australia specific fair of its kind in Canada. The Fair is extremely popular and attracts more than 350 visitors each year.

Parking is available at Hart House Circle. The cost of parking is $7.00 for the day. If you are taking the subway, the closest stops are Queen’s Park (corner of College Street and University Avenue) and Museum (Queen’s Park and Charles Street West).

University of Queensland Info Sessions in Canada – May/June

img_1207The University of Queensland will once again travel to Canada this year to offer Canadians the opportunity to learn more about the world-renowned university
and its programs on offer.

UQ‘s Deputy Manager International, David Bunyan, will travel to Vancouver and Toronto at the end of May and into June, where he will provide campus highlights and insight to the programs of interest for Canadian students. He will also provide an overview of entry requirements to the program on offer, and will answer any questions asked during the information seminar. This is a perfect opportunity to
get detailed campus and program information!

Bond University Law School Professor (and Canadian!) Eric Colvin will be visiting Canada in late May to host information sessions providing interested Canadians and their families with information about Bond’s Law School.

OzTREKK’s Matt Miernik will travel with Prof. Colvin, and offer guidance to Canadians wanting to study law at Bond University.

Applications to UQ’s Master of Speech Pathology Studies Program now Open!

Study to become a speech pathologist at one of Australia’s most renowned universities – the University of Queensland. Applications are now open for the University of Queensland Speech Pathology program, slated for the November, 2010 intake via OzTREKK!

Speech pathologists work in the education, health and private practice fields, and you can turn your career goals into reality by applying to the University of Queensland Master of Speech Pathology Studies program. It’s a two-year, six semester, intensive course, which will provide you with the credentials to become a practicing speech pathologist.

The program’s small class sizes are ideal, as students receive thorough and personal instruction, as there are only 30 students in the program.

The University of Queensland Speech Pathology program takes up to 10 international students each intake, and each year, 5 to 7 international students are Canadians who applied via OzTREKK!
