Considering Australia’s image is often clad with beaches, the country’s olympic team has proven their nation can take on the snow.
As previously reported, Dale Begg-Smith earned a silver in the men’s moguls and Torah Bright won gold in the women’s halfpipe competition.
Now, a another gold medal finish by Australian Lydia Lassila makes it three for the country. Lassila finished first in the women’s aerials, beating out two Chinese athletes, who both earned silver and bronze.
As the Olympic games wrap up this weekend, Australia should be proud of its achievements in Vancouver - as is the case in Canada!
