Griffith Law School ranked in the global top 50

Griffith University Law School Criminology

Law at Griffith has gained significant recognition in the latest ShanghaiRankings’ Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2017. Law (which includes criminology in this ranking) came in at number 38 after the ARWU evaluated 4000 universities in 52 subjects across natural sciences, engineering, life sciences, medical sciences and social sciences.

UQ Veterinary School earns top marks in global ranking system

The University of Queensland has been ranked the best in Australia for veterinary sciences by a major international rankings system. Acting Head of the UQ School of Veterinary Science Associate Professor Jenny Seddon welcomed the latest school accolade in the Shanghai Ranking Global Ranking of Academic Subjects for 2017.

James Cook University answers the call for rural doctors

James Cook University is answering the call for more doctors in regional, rural and remote Queensland.

This year, the university is training 593 GP registrars through the provision of its specialist training program, Generalist Medical Training (GMT).  This program has been contracted by the Australian Government Department of Health to deliver Australian General Practice training (AGPT) in North Western Queensland.
